:) savor, savor, savor. Drink it in like fine tea. And speaking of babies and tea, your photo reminds me of something I read just yesterday -- "To determine whether the tea is a good one or not, one should examine its colour, scent and taste. The perfect colour is like that of the first leaves in spring. The taste should resemble that of the skin of a young baby. The taste cannot be described but only appreciated through experience."
Hi D+L, He looks adorable, he is definitely has Lei's nice eyes and your hair colors. I'm looking forward to coming to visit you guys and xiaohu if we can find any chance. 他是一個很可愛的寶寶。為你們開心! Have a good summer! best wishes! Kathy
The thing that worries me more than the teaware (which is currently on the teatray, which occupies one end of our dining table, and is therefore out-of-reach for a few years) is the hotplate and tetsubin. I'm not sure how or where I can hide them from curious fingers...
This morning, I awoke to Xiaohu energetically slapping my cheeks. I recall chuckling as he then moved onto pulling my wife's hair until she woke up.
ReplyDeleteParenthood.

ReplyDeleteFor a moment I thought you were describing one of those challenging young sheng's you like to wrestle with at the tea table ;)! Just kidding.
Adorable picture and cute outfit =D!
PS: how prepared is your household for a zombie apocalypse =D?
Hah :)
ReplyDeleteOur house is becoming ever more baby-proof, and that shares a lot in common with making it zombie-proof!
