Not that harvest spiders have ears, but, when I wrote this haiku in summer, the harvest spider nearby to where we were playing in the back garden certainly looked perturbed. If it had ears, they would be covered.
In fact, he's not crying in the photograph, either, it being more of a "Mother, can't I please have some milk? This loser doesn't even have mammary glands."
