This haiku makes me rather homesick, writing as I am from somewhere in the New World, far from both my son and the daffodils that he likes to pick as we go to the park. A quick Skype conversation reveals that all is well; I suspect that the Little Tiger (as Xiaohu means in English) is enjoying his holiday from his parents, and enjoying his Nainai and Xiaoyi, who are staying with him while we are away.
