Hilary term is a real squeeze, both intellectually and in terms of trying to keep your head above water. At the end of it, everything comes alive - or rather, it has been there all along, but I have not noticed it until the pressure of full term dissipates. Suddenly, the garden is filled with blossom and tits - tits everywhere! They flock into the trees, branches laden with tits.
I would be fibbing if I did not confess to having a purile sense of humour.
P.s. The image that makes the haiga is a humble photograph of my own, taken a few years ago, showing the gardening hat of my dear wife. Blossom aplenty, in watercolour print around its brim. Like the garden, the hat is something that has its own seasons.
