  2. My compliments to the person who bought the outdoor furniture set. I'm always a sucker for mosaics.

  4. Dear Hobbes,

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2015

I have been a silent admirer of your Blog for some time and have been thoroughly entertained by your wits, imagination and insight. I have also come to admire the man whose passion for tea remains undiminished as he over the years takes on the added responsibility of a father, a family man and a trusted academic professor. Your blog reveals not just about the tea but about you and that you are of noble heart and a fine gentleman!

I take this opportunity to inquire if you would be interested in trading teas with a fellow tea enthusiast. I am more than happy to return some of the pleasures you have provided over the years through your Blog through this tea trade.

As I have decided to start my own blogging adventure recently, some of my puerh teas can be viewed under the Tea List.

    Best wishes,
    Varat

  5. Dear Varat,

Thank you for the kind comment!

I'm afraid that I would probably let you down, and take far too long to reciprocate, for a tea-exchange, given the length of my "to do" list - I wouldn't like to disappoint you, and so look forward instead to reading more of your opinions in the meantime. The world definitely needs more tea-bloggers!

  6. Dear Hobbes,

There is only one tea blogger who can come up with a response like that.

I told you, you are a gentleman! :)

Ahhh, holidays are over unfortunately but what's that I see over the horizon ......
a small pile of dried leaves, a hot kettle and a teapot.

    Life is good!
