I have a few lbs left over from purchases I've made in the past and I'd like to drink those up. But I'd also like to start buying more samples so I can experience the different Puerhs available out there. --TeaternityAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-753589427119541238.post-77717455856991247822009-10-13T13:32:45.327+01:002009-10-13T13:32:45.327+01:00Gracias!Gracias!Hobbeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10719619695211038389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-753589427119541238.post-89292749119751081892009-10-13T04:01:03.773+01:002009-10-13T04:01:03.773+01:00Great review, I need to get into these teas someti...Great review, I need to get into these teas sometime!Pat Canellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12065006099808289162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-753589427119541238.post-3557294347583233592009-10-11T13:51:45.218+01:002009-10-11T13:51:45.218+01:00Dear Jack,

Dear Nerval,

I've seen "vertical" used by Americans. Like tea, there is no fixed lexicon. I can't see that it matters either way, to be honest, but mention it here by way of reply. :)

Toodlepip,

HobbesHobbeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10719619695211038389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-753589427119541238.post-3947864767829849352009-10-10T17:41:21.161+01:002009-10-10T17:41:21.161+01:00Pardon, in this case obviously a 'vertical'...Pardon, in this case obviously a 'vertical' tasting.Wojciech Bońkowskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09165358008309119846noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-753589427119541238.post-35094656651344952702009-10-10T12:53:47.418+01:002009-10-10T12:53:47.418+01:00I've enjoyed the 2000 (from a sample), it'...I've enjoyed the 2000 (from a sample), it's cleaner and more airy than many similarly aged cakes from major companies. Very dry-stored. But it requires a high dosage as it's a little timid.
Oh, and oenophiles prefer to speak of 'horizontal' tasting :-)
Best wishes, NervalWojciech Bońkowskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09165358008309119846noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-753589427119541238.post-87655477670426150172009-10-09T20:57:09.772+01:002009-10-09T20:57:09.772+01:00Fantastic, I'll make sure to hang on to it til...Fantastic, I'll make sure to hang on to it till then! I have a few people to whom I already owe samples, and so had perhaps better wait until the redevelopment is finished before swapping more. Thanks again for your generous offer - let's do it in a few weeks!

Hobbeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10719619695211038389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-753589427119541238.post-86912355526910777272009-10-09T11:37:17.933+01:002009-10-09T11:37:17.933+01:00Dear Hobbes,

In a similar manner to this I find the tea to also have some rather comforting 'red' notes, with plesent hints of woody, malty chocolate, honey and leather, which give way gradually to a satisfying huigan and spicier green notes in the later steeps.

Jack Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08460257904324332658noreply@blogger.com
