The first three or four infusions are usually water-in, water-out - don't leave them to brew, otherwise it'll get bitter.

Add more or less leaf depending on how potent you think the Hobbeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10719619695211038389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-753589427119541238.post-6826550737332542752010-05-21T02:38:58.394+01:002010-05-21T02:38:58.394+01:00Hello There, Hobbes.

About how many grammes were you using for a more flavorful brew? I used a little over five and didn't get much flavor from it.

Thanks! :)

Mr. ChaBryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11887146212773750891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-753589427119541238.post-5351073818428208052008-11-30T08:16:00.000+00:002008-11-30T08:16:00.000+00:00Welcome, Anonymous One! I didn't get much Yiwu out of it, unsurprisingly!Hobbeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10719619695211038389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-753589427119541238.post-19964383293713972652008-11-30T02:39:00.000+00:002008-11-30T02:39:00.000+00:00I notice in your notes you say this is composed of...I notice in your notes you say this is composed of Mengla leaves, but sold by Yunnan Sourcing as "Stone Pressed Yiwu" - is this some mistake?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-753589427119541238.post-49722197372831701862008-11-29T17:27:00.000+00:002008-11-29T17:27:00.000+00:00Will, you're a brave man! After looking at / smelling the cake, I was excited, but also nervous that the tea wouldn't actually taste good. I wasn't disappointed at all, though... I think this is a very pleasant tasting cake, maybe one of the nicer young cakes I've tried, and it's fairly reasonably priced for a stone-pressed, smaller production cake with leaves Willhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07246418566389009505noreply@blogger.com
