I wrote this long ago, when Xiaohu (our eldest son) was enjoying his second Christmas - he is now just past his fourth. I was struck by his love of every single snowflake. Buddha is truly in the details.
The image in the haiga works quite nicely, I think, it being of a baby from another species, photographed in Yellowstone Park many years before Xiaohu was ever dreamed of. That little fellow in the photograph must be quite a big boy, by now...
