Thanks, GN. This was taken a while ago - the autumn is biting, and the leaves are falling.
I like the haiku - I have often thought that the Chinese ladies in my family communicate with a gentle rustling noise, like rustling leaves. The image of our willow was an appropriate match.
Some days, if I cannot sleep and arise early, I sit downstairs in the dark, drinking tea, listening to the rustling willow in the pre-dawn hours, while my family sleep upstairs.
