The erhu is a classical Chinese instrument, often played at the roadside - as in the case as I hurried to give a lecture one day in Beijing. I was delighted to hear that the street-artist's rustic stylings went rather well - almost uncannily so - with the music to which I was listening. Could it be that he was providing a classical Chinese rendering of "Incarcerated Scarfaces"?

The image is my eldest son, demonstrating that the purveyance of The Styles is entirely genetic.

You will recall, Gentle Reader, that the OBD is so-called "because there ain't no father to his style"; in the case of dear Xiaohu, this is precisely incorrect. Attaboy.
