Believe me when I say that you do not want to go anywhere near the kind of unwashed garments that accumulate in the midst of all these dirty nappies... :)

This is a rather humble, prosaic haiku that I wrote while contemplating some drying clothes on our patio last summer, after reading a chapter of Suzuki's "Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind" (from which the title of this blog is taken). He wrote about the drops of a famous waterfall separating during their descent, before joining at the end of their journey.

We talk about the proverbial "stink of Zen", which I thought appropriate given the subject matter of this haiku.
