Discovering the last of the winter snow is all very well when it's in the shadow of a pretty tree, or on the top of a garden lantern - but when it's in your wellies?
I firmly believe that you can tell a great deal about someone by watching their reaction when they discover the last of the winter snow in their wellies. I chortled, and squelched my toes into my now-damp socks.
