There is something fragile and charming about the poetry of Basho that always refreshes me.
The vivid image of the spring flower contrasts amusingly to me with the hard stems of the flowers shown in the image, arranged by my dear wife. The vase in the photograph is named after a statistical limit theorem that I came up with a few years back: it was beautiful but useless.
